Workshops
Workshops are an excellent way to provide new ideas and training to students without the large time commitment of a Seminar. Workshops typically last an hour and are specifically designed to encourage further training in the topic. Workshops can be more appeasing to parents and students that cannot budget the time or money of a full seminar schedule, yet get a complete martial arts experience in the condensed classes. Workshops cover material that can be expanded on in following workshops without exhausting the topic.
Adding in Workshops with your Seminar schedule can make your event more accessible to all ages and ranks. I suggest scheduling similar themed workshops to follow seminars to allow students to view another aspect of what was taught in the prior session, or simply join in without having to attend the preceding seminar as the workshop is self sufficient. With proper scheduling, I can realistically teach 6 workshops (or more) in a day.
